If you contact us by email, your information is processed to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you ask to be notified when the book is published, we process your email address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) solely to send one notification about its publication; it is deleted afterwards. Sign-up uses a double opt-in procedure: you receive an email with a confirmation link; unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 72 hours. We store your email address, language, the wording of your consent and the times of sign-up and confirmation on our webspace at IONOS SE. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by an informal email. Emails to addresses at this domain are forwarded via IONOS to a mailbox at Telekom Deutschland GmbH and processed there.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we process your email address, your message and, if provided, your name to answer your enquiry. The data are not stored on the website but sent by email to our contact address and forwarded via IONOS to a mailbox at Telekom Deutschland GmbH. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries. To prevent automated abuse, we derive a non-reversible hash from your IP address and use it for no more than ten minutes (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data are deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
